What’s Next?

Prelude to Mountain Ghost is my first self-funded project. It was first developed in 2024 at Trauma Bar und Kino in Berlin, later presented as a work-in-progress at Want To Dance (艋舺藝術節) in Xinfu Market, a heritage building in Taipei, and also performed at KitKat Club, a renowned fetish and sex-positive nightclub in Berlin. After its full premiere at The Feuerle Collection, I returned to Want To Dance in 2025 and performed on the main stage at Wan Theatre. Until now, Prelude to Mountain Ghost exists in different versions that can be performed both in traditional theatre settings and site-specific spaces. It is constantly being reworked and adjusted, as it mirrors my queer identity—a continuous state of “becoming” over time.”

"Prelude To Mountain Ghost” is now a 30-minute piece that can be performed in both traditional theatre and site-specific space. However, it also holds the potential to grow into a full-length performance of approximately 45 minutes. To realised this extended version, a further period of artistic residency would be essential, offering time and space for continued research and creative development. I look forward to the next chapter and the opportunity it will bring.

Ultimately, Prelude to Mountain Ghost is more than a performance—it is a call to embrace the unknown within ourselves, to find beauty in transition, and to create meaning and bring up purpose through our stories.
